· We all have a crush on Moko (aka. Tenjo Night of Zettai Kareshi) after completing Zettai Kareshi, so I'm pleased to announce (with permission from Nemui Fansubs) that we'll be completing the series "Regatta" -- which Moko is a lead in. PS. Aibu Saki (aka. Riiko) is in it too. We won't be redoing episodes 1-6, but we'll have those available on our IRC bots for download soonish.
· Hana Kimi Special: It hasn't aired yet. The DramaWiki is VERY wrong. Don't trust it before doing a little research. I had to do some digging around and I found out the release date on the DramaWiki is actually for the Taiwanese version airing in Japan. There's no set date for the Japanese special yet. And to answer everyone's question, yes, we do plan to sub it.
· Death Note Pre-quel: (L Change The World): There is a decent subbed version that was released and we're still pondering if we should work on it or not. The last 2 movies we worked on were licensed by VIZ. So, we might pass on it after all.
· We're enjoying our break from the current season, but that doesn't mean we're not fansubbing at all. We're busy worker bees here, so stay tuned for some older series.
· We're looking for a new site design and we've decided to let our viewers and fans vote for the top 5 designs. Please go here to vote!

· Hana Ikusa 2007 Special was released to everyone's surprise. Please enjoy this geisha movie starring our beloved Hana Yori Dango heroine, Inoue Mao. This release also marks our first foray into the HD world. Currently, its in avi/XviD format @ 1.4GB. We are considering using H.264 soon with other specials and series. · Gokusen 3 was delayed. But we worked our butts off to get episodes 8-10 to you guys quickly. We hope you're enjoying the fruits of our labor!
· Zettai Kareshi is finally done with. It was a very sweet and cute drama that all of us enjoyed. We hope you've enjoyed it too!
· With the current season officially over, we've decided to take a break from this upcoming season... unless something catches our eye.
· In regards to the Hana Yori Dango Final Movie... this was released in theaters in JAPAN only. We do have plans to sub it, but we have to wait for the official DVD release (which could take several months).
· Future projects... we have some older secret gems that'll be released this month. Stay tuned...

04/23/08 - Mini-Update about Zettai Kareshi:
Since a few of you have brought up this issue, let me address it.
I knew I should've added a note in the release...
In the 1st episode, Riiko names her robot "Night." But in the episode she referred to him as a sort of "Knight" in shining armor.
This wasn't an oversight on our part, but we decided to stick to the spelling of "Night" for several reasons and lemme spell them out for you:
1) The official Zettai Kareshi site, has Night's name as "Night Tenjo."
2) Night is a part of the "Nightly Series" -- this shows up on the official site and in the manual that came with Night. Also from the manga, Riiko gets his name from looking at the manual.
3) I've done my research way before the series aired. I read both the Japanese manga and the licensed E-subbed VIZ version. It's spelled "Night" throughout the licensed version.
So... based on these points we've decided to stick to "Night" to stay true to Yuu Watase's work. Though from the looks of it, it seems that the drama version makes no distinction between "Knight" or "Night."
This would've made one hell of a note in the final release, eh? LOL.

· We finally finished Honey and Clover with Love Song Productions. It was a great experience working with them, and SARS-Fansubs hopes to work with them again. Thanks to everyone involved and thanks to the viewers for giving this drama a shot.
· Wonderful Life Episodes 1-5 version 2 batch is finally out. The first versions are now obsolete.
· Karei Naru Ichizoku is finally out! We've been working on this secretly since it aired last year. It's a rather serious story (think Byakuyakou), so it might not be suitable for all viewers. But it won several awards, so it has to be good!
· Zettai Kareshi and Gokusen 3 both air this month... Oh, joy...
· Zettai Kareshi trailers are finally up.
April Fansubbing Plan:

· December was another "Spring" cleaning for us. We finally finished off a few series like, Mukodono 2003, Galileo, and Ruri no shima (the SP).
Thanks for being patient and sticking with us for so long.
· For January, we're kicking off a few brand new series! For this Winter season, we're working on Hachimitsu to Clover with Love Song Productions. We're also hard at work on Nodame Cantabile in Europe (a 2 part special).

Since the October update was rather late, here's a more timely post.
First a few new things to check out:
· SARS-Rewind: Last month's winner was: Hoshi no kinka Seasons 1-2
Since this marks the end of all the fansubbed series available to vote on, we've decided that this was the last SARS-Rewind. All of our fansubbed releases are now available on fast and reliable XDCC bots. Most low quality rips are available on Hantu. Thanks to those that have voted!
· November will be mostly a catch-up month for us.
